Eusébio’s VISION - Players For Peace, now works as an organized commitment of Goodwill, working on concrete Education Through Sport LEGACY initiatives, assisting the United Nations Sport for Development and Peace in order to help bring awareness and support for the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 56/75 on “Building a Peaceful and Better World through Sport and the Olympic Ideal”.
“My mission will be to utilize my GOL ILUMINADO FOUNDATION to engrave the Legacy of one of the Greatest Footballers in History. Eusébio da Silva Ferreira was a special friend and a very special person. His Legacy and memory will live in perpetuity and will help change the lives of children for generations to come. Our unique partnerships with the United Nations, World Leaders, Governments and Global Brands, along with the help of a New Generation of FutbolMasters and Players For Peace Ambassadors, like the Legendary Galácticos - lead by Michel Salgado, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos and Cristiano Ronaldo - will ensure that we accomplish our objectives”.

As a TRIBUTE to honor Players
For Peace Ambassador and FutbolMasters
Founder Eusébio, ‘Don Elias’
will utilize his GOL ILUMINADO FOUNDATION and the Players For Peace movement to pay homage to the memory and
commitment of his great friend and brother.
"Eusébio and I traveled to Mozambique together not too long ago on a Goodwill mission. It was an amazing experience to witness the love and respect that the entire Country of his birth had for him, as well as the compassion that he demonstrated towards everyone that he crossed paths with. It was truly heartwarming and a unique experience to be with him in Mozambique", stated Figueroa.
Players For Peace will work on a special project to memorialize the Legacy of Eusébio. and launch a soon to be announced strategic mission to implement 20 Players For Peace Education Through Sport Legacy Centers throughout the world, which will include an initiative in Lisbon, Portugal and one in the town of his birth, Maputo, Mozambique.
